RYAN THOMAS - FOUNDER

BIO

Ryan's journey into health and fitness started at just 19 after going through a huge personal transformation from a scrawny 58 kilos to a brawny 89 in just 18 months. His drive to discover the best techniques in training and nutrition soon turned into a passion for helping others and motivating them become the very best version of themselves. Since then Ryan has completed over 15,000 personal training sessions, worked with hundreds of clients, achieved a level 4 in Strength & Conditioning and is an associate member of the UKSCA. 

As the founder of Equilibrium Studios Ryan holds a profound belief that functional exercise and habit-based nutrition practice is the key to a life without limits. It is his personal mission to change the way we approach diet and exercise one body at a time.

DAN COLEMAN- HEAD COACH

BIO

Dan has always had a sports background, but his primary sport was swimming in which he competed at a National level. Dan is passionate about the industry because he loves helping people achieve results that they never thought would be possible. He also strongly believes that health and fitness is important and should play an important role in every single persons life. One of Dans greatest achievements is completing the Amazing 12 Transformation Programme at Equilibrium Studios in 2019 where he managed to reach 10% body fat through an intense training and nutrition programme. 

 

One of Dan’s greatest client success stories is a client who lost 64 pounds in just 8 months. This made Dan over the moon as he helped a client not only reach their goal, but also change their life forever.

BIO

Molly is the Office Manager at Equilibrium Studios and handles everything from payroll and health & safety to social media management. Molly has traveled extensively, living abroad in both Australia and New Zealand and has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and looking after the planet.

STEPH CORBETT - PERSONAL TRAINER

BIO

Steph has always been active; practising karate from the age of 8 to 16, athletics from the age of 12 in which she went on to be both a sprint hurdler and a 400m hurdler, winning gold at the welsh championships in the 4 x 400m relay and also competing in multiple x-country events. She found her love for the gym whilst studying her Nutrition degree at Surrey University and interning with the Harlequins Rugby team and decided that Personal Training would be the perfect fit. Steph really thrives on a challenge and now that she is a mum, can really relate to those who are juggling home life, work life and trying to prioritise their health & fitness too!

Steph’s helped multiple clients surpass their goals during her career; many of which have had injuries, joint replacements, different health conditions or surgery. She believes movement is medicine and thrives on watching clients improve week on week.

DEAN IREDALE - PERSONAL TRAINER

BIO

Dean has always been interested in sport, Football being his primary sport in which he started when he was only 7 years old and played at a high level until he was 18. At college Dean found that he developed a passion for the health and fitness industry while doing strength and conditioning sessions to help improve his sports performance. Dean quickly turned this passion for improving his own sports performance to helping others.

 

Dean is driven by helping others achieve their health and fitness goals, especially those goals which will have the biggest impact long term on their everyday lives.

TAYLOR STEPHENS - PERSONAL TRAINER

BIO

Taylor has been interested in sport since he was young. From the age of 6 playing rugby and football. He then played rugby at Academy/County level which helped to build his love for health and fitness and whilst at college he was part of a development programme for talented rugby players where he also completed a level 3 extended diploma in sports and exercise science. Taylor has seen the positive impact that looking after your health and fitness can have on his own life and wants to help support others in reaching their own goals!

ETHAN PRICHARD - PERSONAL TRAINER

BIO

Ethan is from an elite background of sports having been at a professional level of football for 7 years of his life, this enabled him to find his love for health and fitness through different training methods and rehab. Having won many competitions globally with his team this drives him onto reaching goals and targets. Ethan has trained in the gym for many years which led him onto his personal training course to develop knowledge further and learn to help others in varying ways, whilst still competing at a high level in football. Ethan has firsthand witnessed the changes health and fitness can bring to a persons life and wanted to help many others in this way.

CAM EDNEY - PERSONAL TRAINER

BIO

Sport and fitness have always been some of my main passions when growing up, this led me to take sports coaching at college and learn more about the body and what makes a good coach. From there I started a personal training apprenticeship which lasted 15 months giving me key skills to develop myself on the job whilst interacting with all of the members and helping them to ease into fitness when they would’ve felt scared. I have always been involved in sports outside of learning, from basketball and football for the school team to swimming competitively for a club. Sports have always been my relaxing place when I've felt like I have needed to take a break and clear my head.
